About Dr. Hasan

“I am a spine surgeon trained in both orthopaedic and neurosurgical spine surgery specializing in complex spine surgery with an emphasis on minimally invasive techniques. My primary clinical focus is on the treatment of adult spinal conditions of the neck and back and related neurologic disorders. I take pride in providing my patients with a holistic treatment approach which incorporates both physical and mental aspects of spinal health to help you return to your desired lifestyle. I draw from many different disciplines including acupuncture and yoga and combine these fields with cutting edge techniques to provide the best available treatment options for my patients. I am one of the few spine surgeons in the United States who is fully trained in endoscopic spine surgery, a special technique where we use special micro-instruments and endoscopic cameras the size of a pencil that can be targeted to a specific problem area, providing an effective targeted minimally invasive alternative to traditional open spine surgery. I am a firm believer in a “less is more” minimally-invasive philosophy to minimize scarring and pain and expedite recovery for my patients to help them quickly return to their active lifestyles. However, the most minimally invasive surgery is no surgery at all! I am committed to providing my patients with many different options to provide them with long-term neck and back pain relief. I am actively involved in scientific research and I am dedicated to furthering the field of spinal surgery to elevate the standard of care we provide for our patients. Thank you for your thoroughness when completing our forms, accurate and complete information will assist us in providing you the highest possible level of care.”
