About Maggi Cary

After graduating from Rhodes College, TN, with a bachelor of arts degree in clinical psychology, Maggi went on to receive her certificate in physical therapy from the University of California at San Francisco.

Maggi has 30 years of experience treating musculoskeletal dysfunction with an emphasis on sports injuries. She focuses on injuries of the shoulder, back, knee, and ankle with an emphasis on functional training. She is proficient in the CoreX System, a functional spine stabilization used by 24 of the 30 NBA teams. As the author of Protocol for Treatment of the Athlete Following PRP Injections of Patellar Tendonitis, Maggi is an authority on plasma rich protein injections.

When not seeing patients at Webster Orthopedics, Maggi enjoys horseback riding and competing with her German shepherd in tracking and obedience competitions. She is also a black belt in taekwondo and the former physical therapist for the Golden State Warriors for over 22 years.
