She states that she is very honored to be working as a CHT with well respected Bay Area Hand Surgeons and Upper Extremity Specialists Dr. Kendrick Lee and Dr. Joshua Richards.
On the job, Lisa’s goal is to produce the best result after injury, disease, or surgery. She stresses the importance of the hand for everyday functions. As an Acupuncturist, Lisa integrates acupuncture and TCM philosophies and modalities for the whole body. Lisa believes acupuncture is very effective for balancing the body, assisting immune system, circulation, decreasing swelling, pain, and stiffness to assist with functional recovery. Special interests include orthopedic, musculoskeletal, and sports conditions.
Lisa is excited to be a part of the Complementary Wellness Team to enhance continuity of care, and would like to invite patients to explore with her the ways in which acupuncture can contribute to improving balance in their lives. Lisa believes in using natural ways of treatment to help you regain your health, and uses techniques that support and encourage the natural forces of our bodies which are the true healers of disease, pain, and suffering.
In her personal life, Lisa aims a living life in balance through enjoying the beautiful Bay Area outdoors, breathing, stretching, swimming, biking, running, learning about nutrition and whole foods, reading, cooking, and listening to live music.
