Patient Testimonials

"I had knee surgery in August of 2010 because of a torn muniscus. Dr Peatman did the surgery and a followup a few days later. He told me of some stretches to do, which I did, which negated any more followups, at my request. I did the stretches, etc, and only 10 days or so after the surgery, I was literally climbing a tree in my front yard in order to trim it! Even I will admit that that was a little much, but I had no problems. Better yet though, a couple of months later, in November of 2010, I went hiking into the Linville Gorge Wilderness trail in the mountains of NC. This is a rough trail, where you have to climb over huge boulders, fallen trees, and hike up and down steep trails. Well, I videoed the entire hike, and I even commented along the way that I couldn't believe how well my knee was doing, as compared to before the surgery. I commented that I was very thankful to Dr Peatman, because the surgery enabled me to do the mountain hiking that I would not have been able to do without the surgery. Dr Peatman is absolutely fantastic! Thanks, Dr Peatman!" – Keith

"Excellent as always. Nurses are very supportive. Dr. stays in the office answers all my questions and gives his all. Front office is friendly and notices me upon my arrival." – B. Bule

"I needed help with my equipment and medication. My phone calls were returned within 24 hours and my needs were addressed with kindness and empathy. I was given well thought out advice. I feel that the physician assistant system is very effective." – M. Phillips

“In my mid sixties I have begun to develop bursitis in many of my joints and had tried conventional over the counter remedies and exercises, but nothing really helped. I was referred by my primary care doctor to Webster Orthopedics, and to Dr. Peatman for evaluation and treatment. Dr. Peatman did diagnostic tests right away. I was happy to see he has an x ray lab within the offices. They are very efficient there! I have had injections in my knees and hips that make it possible for me to function better, at last, and when one knee worsened significantly we did an arthroscopic surgery that was very quick and painless. Results were very positive for me. I say "We" did it, because Dr. Peatman makes me feel like I am part of the decision making process in anything that is done, explaining things well for me. By analyzing my responses to treatment, and what I was still having trouble with, he discovered that at least part of the origin of my pain was in my lower back and we are treating that too. I am beginning physical therapy and I have high hopes that I will be back to my former level of strength and comfort very soon. Personally, I find Dr. Peatman to be unusually attentive and respectful, and he shares with me whatever new diagnostic information he has available. He has a nice sense of humor and relates very well with me. The staff at Webster Orthopedics is professional, efficient, and friendly. Patients in the waiting room always seem to be in a good humor despite the fact that they are there because they are having pain. All rooms are clean and well kept, so it's a nice atmosphere there. I would recommend Webster Orthopedics to anyone who needs to see a good orthopedist.” – A. Churchill

"Dr. Peatman has helped me so much! He could not help me but he sent me to Children's hospital where I am recieving physical therapy as well as also seeing a Neurologist and soon a Neurosurgeon because of my Spinal stinosis and recently diagnosed Plantar Fascitis. I cannot thank you enough for helping me finally get the help that I need. Thank you Dr. Peatman...." – D. Long, Age 11

"I was professionally greated at the front desk. I was provided with paperwork and upon completion only had a brief wait (about 15 minutes) before being taken into the office. I met with Sarah (PA Assistant) who greeted me and discussed my medical history. I also had a fair amount of questions and she was very professional and answered them to my satisfaction. She was very assuring as well. After meeting with Sarah I then met with Dr. Peatman. I had seen him previously and my diagnosis was the same. He assured me of any concerns I had and I moved to schedule my procedure. I felt that both Sarah and Dr. Peatman acted very professional and were very knowledgeable in the area for which I need treatment." – J. Irizarry

“Dr. Peatman was excellent! I had a very positive experience with him in getting my hip replacement. It was the second surgery on the same hip after twenty years and I expect this one will last as well. It has worked out wonderfully - I am back to hiking and biking and walking the dog. I would recommend him to anyone who needs hip or knee replacement surgery.” – S. Henderson

"I was diagnosed with osteoarthiitis in both hips and knees, and was advised that surgery was the way to go, I hesitated, for fear, but the pain was unbearable. I put my trust in this young doctor, and was amazed at how well I felt right after the surgery the chronic pain and the healing pain are like night and day. I felt great, so I had my left hip done 2 months later, again I felt great, however the knee began to give me problems. I saw doctor Peatman for a visit he asked how I was, and I told him if he could do this knee tomorrow I would hop on the table in a minute, and 3 days later I did. I have 2 new hips and a new knee, I healed in less than 6 months., I went back to work full duties no limitations, I lift, I stand, bend all through my work day, and walk very fast. I had an urge to write this because every day I get up I thank God and Dr. Peatman for the good life I have now," – M. Ventura

"Excellent care by all staff members. Pleasant, curteous, efficent. Overall experience was a good one." – S. Villalobos
