Julie received her undergraduate degree in Exercise Physiology and Spanish from CSU Chico. From there, she completed her bachelor of arts degree in Pre-Physical Therapy at San Francisco State University. Julie then underwent her masters of Physical Therapy at the University of Southern California.
Julie is qualified in an extensive variety of manual techniques, including spinal and joint mobilization, soft tissue mobilization, manual traction, and PNF; all types of electrotherapeutic modalities; and patient education, including body mechanics, anatomy, kinematics, and pain management.
Julie has many years of experience in orthopedic physical therapy. Having been a NCAA gymnast at Chico State, she enjoys working with all athletes, including "weekend warriors," runners, gymnasts, tennis players and golfers. In addition to her licensing credentials, Julie has extensive training in manual therapy techniques to reduce pain and restore full mobility for her patients. She enjoys the fine arts, her monthly book club and involvement in her community.
Julie lives in San Ramon with her husband, James, her daughter, Kendall, and their dog, Sadie.
