In collaboration with Dr. Richards, I am trained to evaluate, diagnose, and treat our patients through non-operative and operative techniques. As your physician assistant, I place a tremendous amount of importance on patient education. Our focus is to carefully explain your treatment options in order to help make you feel comfortable and confident about your individual condition or injury.
I chose the PA profession because of my lifelong interest in health and wellness and love of medicine. I also wanted to have a more significant contribution in the care of patients than what is often offered with many of the other healthcare fields. A career in orthopedic surgery appealed to me immediately after working in the emergency department for several years prior to beginning PA school. I am eager to bring my skills and experience to help manage your care today.
In my free time, I love to explore the Bay Area’s endless outdoor activities, incredible live music and attend sporting events. I enjoy sports as it played a key role in my life growing up and continues to be into adulthood. Being somewhat new to the area, I like to explore the surrounding areas as well as meet new people.
