After receiving her bachelors of science degree in physical education (Exercise Physiology/Nutrition option) from Cal State University, Hayward, in 1989, Debbie went on to complete a masters of Occupational Therapy from Samuel Merritt College in Oakland, CA. Debbie is an honors graduate and a member of the Pi Theta Epsilon Honor Society.
Debbie has specialized in hand and upper extremity therapy since 1996, becoming a certified ergonomic assessment specialist (CEAS) in 2000 and certified hand therapist (CHT) in 2003. She focuses on the following diagnoses: orthopedic conditions, neurologic disorders, repetitive stress injuries, trauma/burn injuries, developmental delay/sensory integration, and arthritis.
When not helping patients return to their pre-injured lifestyles, Debbie enjoys entertaining, outdoor activities, gardening, reading, and spending time with family.
